Xiaquin, as Klance said, it's not micro, at least in how I play. I usually have my Hero bars open anyways, and the 2 clicks it takes really don't impede me. If it bugs you, by all means don't carry Death Nova, it's not a must (PvE /rollfaceonkeyboard4t3hwinz) but I personally like having exploding Minions, it reminds me of the Undead Fetishes in Diablo II.
